OK hear me out. I dont even like to go places, okay? My house and my living room are my favorite places to be, legit. However, I currently still have to leave my house to work. And this cafe is on my way. When I tell you the the vibe in here is calm and chill and literally so thick it hangs in the air like coastal fog. Tones play over the speakers in the mornings and the lights are dim yet, everything is visible. The baristas are awesome. The food is awesome. The coffee is even better.

If you're a tea lover, you'll enjoy this Cafe with your coffee drinking friends as it has quite a few loose leaf tea options. On a gloomy morning, I usually go for the London Fog. Their London Fog is actually made nicely. They steep the tea long enough, so you can taste the aroma of the earl grey perfectly. It's also not too sweet. I usually don't like my London Fog overly vanilla or overly sweet. Their baked items are good but I prefer their savory options more often. I enjoy their southwest veggie burrito which is always nicely toasted and their cookies. My favorite is their ginger molasses which is both soft and crunchy. I do like the ambiance and the airiness of the place. You can easily social distance while working on your laptop. I do enjoy the music and the comfy seating as well. Bring your earbuds or headset, if you don't like to work with louder music in the background. The staff can come off a little cold from time to time but I don't let that overshadow the positives.

Wowowow writing this at Cafe Solstice as we speak. Got an iced vanilla latte like I do at any other cafe but you knowwww they have that in house syrup. Could tell the second that delectable drop of drink touched my tongue. Plus good oldies music and cozy atmosphere ☕️🪑🍞🕰️

I will never understand how they make the drinks so fast... Its done before you've even finished ordering... chills.. Everyone who works here is so awesome, food + coffee great! Love the music, especially when Cory is DJ.

Easy place to run in for a quick coffee and pastry near the university, cute little patio as well.

🥘: 7/10. I ordered a mocha and it was good! I think it is a bit more on a sweeter side, and all the pastries look really good, I kinda regret not getting any! I would give it a higher rating if it was more nicely presentable!

Honestly this is one of my favorite coffee shops in seattle. I think older looking coffee shops like this are a dying breed but to me this is such a cozy place. The baristas are always very friendly and make such delicious coffee. I would sit there studying/working for hours!
